Description

The Cubs program provides 4- and 5-year-old campers an opportunity to experience a wide variety of outdoor adventures that help build enthusiasm and confidence to try new things as well as a sense of teamwork and appreciation for the natural world. Cubs will enjoy plenty of downtime during their lightly structured day, including storytime, singing, and free time to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The Cubs are an extension of our Farm & Forest Cubs that is offered during the fall and spring and developed with the “Forest School” philosophy originating in Scandinavia in the 1950s. We believe in the power of the outdoors and creating opportunities for young children to experience nature through purposeful play.
